Watched UAE today (thought should collect these videos.) and been hearing about US tortures too lately. And, China is always in these kinds of stories. Looks like human rights group (Amnesty International) are having headaches!
Conclusion: UN/Amnesty aren't that powerful to guarantee a safe heaven if you plan on messing with the authorities.
